New technology and the teaching of English in public schools

Actually, we live in globalizaded world, the things change all day, new technologies appear quickly, so everybody or institutions have to know about it. The schools, public or not need to follow these changes, and give instruments for teachers improve their work.
Today, I think we´re having a good development about this, because our schools are receiving computers, tvs, the teachers are having meetings, etc. It`s been hard, it`s taking much time to work, but it´s the first step. The new technologies will be a great help for English teachers, because there are many possibilities of use, and it´ll motivate the students because this is around them.
I´m very happy learning about new technologies, I´m feeling proud to follow my students......

Being a teacher and a Mother

Being a teacher is a mission, being a mother is a present, both together is a big problem to be solved.

As a teacher you are kind of a little mother too. The students see you as an example, they need to trust you to like and respect you. This work makes you tired, you have a lot of students, many classes a day and pass through hard situations. Sometimes you want that the day ends soon.

When you arrived, and you met your children, they look so happy seeing you, but you are boring, with a bad mood, and sometimes you discount this on them.

So, I think it´s very difficult being a teacher and a mother, but I can go on because I chose this so I can suport. I´m a woman and women are champions. Even though they have a thousand children that are not theirs.
